Xiu-Min LiMD, MS, MPH

Dr. Li develops botanical medicines for allergic and inflammatory conditions, with an emphasis on translating laboratory discoveries into practical applications and evidence-based clinical outcomes. Her work in food allergy, asthma, eczema, and integrative health has resulted in more than 100 peer-reviewed publications.

Allen XueMS

Mr. Xue oversees talent and resource development for GNT’s botanical drug programs. He earned a BS in Chemical Engineering Technology from Zhengzhou University and an MS in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, with additional training in international business and economics.

Nan YangPhD

Dr. Yang leads analytical chemistry and quality control work at GNT. His expertise includes HPLC, LC-MS, immunobiology, molecular biology, and pharmacokinetic analysis in animal models and human studies. He serves as principal investigator for GNT’s SBIR/STTR awards, supports multiple NIH programs, serves as a primary FDA liaison for IND work, and oversees CMC data for clinical development programs.

Alissa Grzybowski

Ms. Grzybowski brings experience in operations, human resources, corporate wellness, and business consulting. At GNT, she has led the Dietary Food Tolerance Program and work on tolerogenic food products intended for use as foods or dietary supplements. She also helps pursue investment, strategic partnerships, and licensing opportunities that can advance GNT’s programs.

Michelle CarnazzaPhD

Dr. Carnazza earned her doctorate in Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology in 2024. At GNT, she applies bioinformatics, microbiology, gene editing, molecular biology, in vitro systems, and animal models of food allergy to evaluate the efficacy and safety of natural compounds and combination approaches.

Jake KnightBS

Jake earned a BS in Chemistry from Ramapo College of New Jersey and conducted graduate research in synthetic chemistry and enzyme mechanisms at the University of Florida. At GNT, he develops, prepares, and tests eczema formulations while supporting product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Dr. Srivastava reviews nonclinical and clinical research, including animal-model studies and work involving patient samples, and supports IACUC and IRB submissions. She contributes expertise in immunology, allergy, cell and molecular biology, physiology, and IND-related research.

Jera (Qianhui) ZhangMS, MA, PhD

Dr. Zhang is a New York-based registered dietitian nutritionist, licensed dietitian, certified lactation counselor, and trained Low-FODMAP practitioner. She earned a PhD in Behavioral Nutrition from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Danna ChungMD

Dr. Chung is board certified in allergy and immunology, internal medicine, and integrative medicine. She has helped lead East-West integrative medicine programming and has collaborated with Dr. Li in patient care and traditional Chinese medicine publications.

Dr. Dunkin is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist and associate professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His research with Dr. Li addresses gastrointestinal allergic disorders and Chinese herbal medicines for IBD and eosinophilic esophagitis.

David Schlessinger

Mr. Schlessinger founded Encore Books and Zany Brainy and co-founded Five Below, where he served as executive chairman. He advises GNT on strategy, business operations, investor engagement, partnerships, and licensing opportunities and has supported research into IgE-inhibitory natural compounds.
